Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy

FIDIC Construction Contracts Certificate Programme · Last updated: November 2026 · Version 2.1 · The Arabic text prevails in case of any difference.

1. Parties

These terms are an agreement between Value Experts for Engineering (V.E.C.), commercial registration 42464, tax file 5/2938/410, Makkah Tower, El-Shafei St., Giza (the "Company"), and the applicant (the "Trainee").

The programme's digital host is the Khallianak digital platform (khallianak.com, the "Platform"), which provides electronic and digital services: the programme page, registration, online collection of fees on the Company's behalf, follow-up and communications. The Platform is not a provider of, or partner in, the training; the training, its content and certificates are the Company's responsibility together with the bodies named below.

The programme is run in cooperation with the Egyptian Consulting Engineers Association (ECEA), Egypt's member association of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC); FIDIC training certificates are issued through ECEA. Completing registration and paying the fees means full acceptance of these terms.

2. The programme

• Training courses on FIDIC contract modules, held online in live sessions; the meeting platform is announced with the session schedule.
• Each module's hours follow FIDIC's rules and are shown on the registration page.
• Training is given by FIDIC-accredited faculty under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdelalim.
• Course material is delivered electronically before the course starts.
• No order between modules is required.

3. Registration and seats

• Registration is made online with complete and correct details; the Trainee is responsible for them.
• Registering alone does not hold a seat: seats are allocated by order of payment, not of registration.
• When a cohort is full, the next payer is placed in the following cohort of the same module and informed.
• Modules not yet open accept a free waiting list; the payment link is sent when they open.
• A course runs only with at least 20 paid participants, under the cooperation protocol with ECEA.
• The certificate uses the name exactly as entered; correcting it after issue may incur fees charged by the issuer.

3a. Course start dates

• The first course to reach the minimum (20 paid participants) starts first; session dates are sent by email and WhatsApp once it fills.
• Registration is not a commitment to start a module on a given date before it fills.
• Trainee guarantee: if the module does not fill within the period announced by the Company, the Trainee chooses a full refund or a transfer to another module or a later course, with no deduction.
• Refund deadlines in section 5 count from the start date announced after the course fills.

4. Fees and payment

• Fees are shown in Egyptian pounds and include the live sessions, course material, access to recordings and the FIDIC certificate fee for Trainees meeting the attendance requirement.
• Payment is made on the Platform's payment page by bank cards, mobile wallets and other methods offered on the secure payment page, or by InstaPay transfer when offered.
• The Platform collects fees on the Company's behalf. Registration is confirmed when payment is confirmed and a confirmation email is sent; for InstaPay, after the receipt is checked.
• Neither the Platform nor the Company stores card details; online payments go through a licensed payment provider.
• Any fees charged by the Trainee's own bank or transfer provider are borne by the Trainee.
• Trainees needing an invoice in their employer's name must give its name and tax number before paying.
• Fees are for one module and one Trainee and are not transferable to another person without the Company's written consent.
• First-cohort discounts, when announced: (a) a founding-seat discount for the first payers in each module's first cohort, up to the announced number, applied at payment while those seats remain; (b) a colleague discount when two or more people from the same engineering consultancy or contracting company register. Discounts are taken off the programme's net fee before VAT and payment charges are added, are never combined, and the Company may withdraw a colleague discount before payment if its condition is not met.

5. Refund policy

• Requests are sent by the email or WhatsApp in section 15; the date of receipt counts.
• Refunds are made to the same payment method within 14 business days of approval; online payments are refunded through the payment provider to the same card or wallet, and the Trainee's bank may take extra time to show it.
• Deferral instead of refund: once, free of charge, to the next cohort of the same module if requested 7 days or more before the start.
• Non-attendance without notice is not a cancellation and gives no refund.
• If the Company cancels or postpones a course, the Trainee chooses a full refund or a transfer to a later course, with no deduction and no other compensation.

6. Attendance and certificate

• At least 80% attendance of the module hours is required for the FIDIC training certificate.
• Attendance is taken from the meeting platform's records; join with your registered name.
• Trainees below the attendance requirement get no certificate and no refund, but may — with the Company's approval — attend the same module in a later cohort at a reduced fee.
• Issue of the certificate follows FIDIC's and ECEA's procedures; the Company is not responsible for issue times or extra requirements of the issuer.
• Important: a FIDIC module training certificate is different from the FIDIC Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) credential, which has its own exam and experience requirements; this programme does not award or guarantee FCCM.

7. Recordings and material

• Session recordings are available to registered Trainees for one month after the course ends.
• Material and recordings belong to the Company, lecturers and issuing bodies as applicable, for personal training use only.
• Copying, downloading, republishing, sharing or commercial/training use with others is prohibited, as is recording live sessions without written permission.
• Breach allows the Company to end the registration immediately without refund, reserving its legal rights.

8. Schedule and changes

• Session dates and joining links are announced before the course; any change is notified as soon as possible.
• The Company may move a session or replace an accredited lecturer with another accredited lecturer without reducing the hours or content.
• The Trainee is responsible for a suitable internet connection and device; connection problems on the Trainee's side are not grounds for a refund.

9. Personal data and communication

• Only the data needed is collected (name, phone, email, employer and job title if entered, payment data) to run registration and payment, issue certificates and communicate.
• The Platform processes this data as the programme's digital host and shares it with the Company, and with ECEA and FIDIC only as needed to issue certificates.
• Trainee data is never sold or shared for marketing with any third party.
• By registering, the Trainee agrees to receive operational messages by email and WhatsApp (registration, payment, session dates and links, reminders).
• The Trainee may ask to see, correct or delete their data once its purpose ends, using the contacts below.

10. Conduct

Trainees must behave respectfully. The Company may end the registration of anyone who abuses or disrupts sessions or shares their access, without refund.

11. Liability

The material is for professional development and is not legal or technical advice on any specific matter. The Company's liability never exceeds the fees paid for the module in dispute. The Platform's responsibility is limited to digital hosting, collection and refunding amounts due under section 5.

12. Force majeure

Neither the Company nor the Platform is liable for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control, such as internet or streaming outages or government decisions; affected sessions will be rescheduled.

13. Changes

The Company may amend these terms; the version published at the time of registration applies to the Trainee.

14. Governing law

Egyptian law applies; Cairo courts have jurisdiction unless both parties agree in writing on arbitration.
